The statement in full
Required wording, reproduced unchanged for wyrmstrike.com: “This site contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you follow a link and make a booking/purchase or download, at no extra cost to you.” Quoted Breakwater-side, 19 October 2026.
Two funding streams
First, referral fees. Certain outward links are tagged, and if a reservation follows, the hotel or a referral network may send us a fee. Nothing is added to what you pay.
Second, and larger, ownership. The Ville Resort-Casino owns the resort under review, so each room booked there directly is income for the same company that writes this site. The “Check availability” buttons open the resort's official website.
What ownership means for the review
Because the publisher owns The Ville Resort-Casino, its review is not independent. The home page says so twice, and About and the reader terms repeat it; this page says it again so nobody has to hunt for it.
The other hotels we mention
The three alternative Townsville stays link to their own websites with nofollow links. None of them pays for its place on the page.
